Knitting process:The sweater is worked from the top down. Stitches are cast on for the back of the neck and then worked with rib stitch in both sides, and at the same time increases are worked to form the top part of the back panel. Then stitches are picked up along the edge of the shoulders, and the shoulders are worked individually back and forth. Stitches are then cast on to join the 2 shoulders into the front panel. The front and back panels are joined, and the body is worked in the round on a circular needle. The body is finished by a bottom rib hem. The sleeve stitches are picked up from the armhole, and the sleeves are worked in the round and finished by a rib stitch cuff. Finally, stitches are picked up from the neck opening and worked in rib stitch. The rib stitch neck hem is folded double and knitted down. The structured stripes on the sweater start on the back and front panels and continue down the body and the sleeves. Follow the placing and the chart for the stripes as described in the pattern below. Please Note: The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state LOT number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested. Photo credit IG @annette.knit @memo.knit @mit_strikke_univers @blaastrikken

DBT Walking the Middle Path Skills (PDF)

The “middle path” is a concept in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Walking the middle path simply means that a person can find a balance between opposite ideas. In other words, it avoids an all-or-nothing or a black-and-white thinking pattern. This handout is a valuable resource that shows kids, teens, and young adults how they can find the middle path. This way, they will be able to make room for compromise and cope with difficult situations. *This item is an instant digital download.
