From Brück and Sohn (Printers in Meissen, Germany 1793-2018) a charming Advent Calendar of a Dachshund committing Christmas Mischief / Crime (Baumfrevel) “exploring” the Christmas Tree. This delightful advent calendar is 10″ x 15″. From Brück and Sohn – “Baumfrevel” is the fitting title for this hand painted historical wood engraving, which we have turned into an Advent calendar. This funny scene has prompted us to write a poem that describes the picture. It is printed on the back of the calendar. Dog lovers will surely smile at the sight of the calendar and it is therefore a must for them. The historical wood engraving comes from the archives of the Werner publishing house in Munich. AK2604 After celebrating their anniversary in October 2018 of 225 years, the 7th generation, Annette and Helmut Brück, are now retired and have closed their doors. An era has come to an end. The Brücks plan to explore the history of their company and offer a small museum and postcard archive which are preserved in Meissen and which is open to the public by appointment.
